Abstract

This article attempts to analyze contemporary forms of racism, xenophobia and inter-ethnic conflicts through the study of denial of racism as a discursive form and social practice in the case of Bolivian immigrants in the city of São Paulo. The study examines the prominent role of denial of racism in contemporary discourse as well as its impact on racial and ethnic relations between Bolivian immigrants and Brazilians in the city of São Paulo.
