Abstract

Children displaced from Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq live in tent cities, in Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey. As Lebanon did not allow the construction of sprawling refugee camps, such as in Jordan and Turkey, poor Syrian families built haphazard tents. Some Syrian children live as displaced in their own country. Others travel to Europe by boat or on foot, hoping to reach Germany, Sweden, or maybe France and Great Britain. Thousands of children already live in European countries, principally in Germany. Based on reports from the New York Times, MIP (Migration Policy International), and CMS (Center for Migration Studies), I will try to describe and explain the situation of children in this traumatic situation. According to Migration Update war causes the crushing of family life.
