To understand the theme of family reunion in Brazil, it is necessary to understand the profile of refugees who ask for family reunion in Brazil, as well as the locations in the country where requests were made and the Brazilian consular authorities where there were more visa applications. It is interesting to note that, although refuge data are available on the CONARE - National Committee for Refugees website, there are no systematic analyzes on this theme. Some recent works, such as the report by IPEA - Institute of Applied Economic Research, of Lima et al (2017) present descriptive quantitative analyzes on refugees in Brazil. It is worth mentioning that access to data on family reunions in Brazil is much precarious. This text analyzes descriptive data on family reunions of refugees in Brazil from different CONARE databases, from the CONARE report and from civil society (from Caritas Arquidiocesana de São Paulo in 2015 and from IMDH - Instituto Migração e Direitos Humanos among the years 2016 and 2017).
