Abstract

This article intends to talk about the articulation of the Haitian immigrant with the Seventhday Adventist Church, which culminated in a celebration space for the Adventist Haitian Community in São Paulo. This research was born from the observation of some events front the intense Haitian migratory flow to Brazil between the years of 2010 and 2015. In the absence of immigration public policies in Brazil, many of these immigrants were hosted by religious institutions, among which Adventist church also acted. In this context, it was possible to analyze the articulation of this immigrant with the Adventist Church in São Paulo and accompany, over a period, The Haitian Adventist community in the state capital.
