Abstract

This article seeks to discuss the existing - and nonexistent - public policies for immigrants and refugees in the municipality of São Paulo in the face of the COVID-19 scenario. It reflects on who is the immigrant who occupies the city and addresses his condition of vulnerability through the problems faced and aggravated at different levels due to the pandemic. It emphasizes the importance of the existence of non-governmental actions and the articulation between public levels, from federal to local.
