This article aims to present the female face in permanently temporary migration processes for the State of São Paulo. The research was developed in the years 2010 in the city of São Carlos and Matão, São Paulo, and Jaicós, in = Piaui state – city of origin of rural women workers. The methodology used is qualitative, especially semi-structured interviews and migratory biographies. The hypothesis considers that migration processes change the position of these women in their families and their communities recomposing their social identities.
